Default Broke PVC Nipple off Intake

So I fixed it!

After the nipple broke I popped the rest of the cap off and scraped the surface clean. Then went to Ace Hardware and found a threaded 90 degree nipple that would fit the hole. Sealed it up with RTV and let it dry.
Should be good as new again.

Part number for nipple used:

Nipple that was broken shown on an old EGR intake I didn't want to use because it was dried up and faded.

Screwed in with RTV on the threads and then sealed up:

JB weld kept breaking back off on the original patch up of the broken piece. This seems to be working just fine.

Did you try to tap the intake at all or just use the RTV to hold it in???

I just put rtv on the threads and threaded it in the best i could without taping it. Taping it tho would be a good idea if you have the time and tap set.
It was basically a perfect fit for the hole so I didn't bother taping.
