Several guys have asked which one I used when I installed my electric fans so here it is. I got it a Kragans and it's made by Imperial Automotive Products and the part number is 226204, it says "fan controller" on the package. Hope this helps!

For those living in different parts of the country, this link (Parts America) shows the different store names the company goes by. The part number should be the same in each store.

I think some guys have posted using 282's or 250's but I'm really not sure. Check E-bay, get some LT1 or LS1 Camaro fans, they'll work and be cheaper than the Flex-a-lites.

The hardest part is getting the stock clutch fan off, the nut can be a bitch <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" /> . The LT1 fans sit right down in the lower radiator bracket. I made up two brackets to hold the top part of the fan in place, you can use the screw holes that held the top part of the fan shroud. The power gain I felt wasn't huge but it was there, I would say about 5 hp to the tires is a good guess. Every little bit helps and it's not that expensive to do. Look on E-bay for the fans.

The things I used are kind of like tie wraps but they are made for mounting things thru a radiator. You push this long piece thru and it goes into a flat round piece and it clicks until its tight then cut off the excess. However they are not as strong as tie wraps so I used 6 of them just to be safe. They are made by Hayden and are 5 bucks for a pack of 4.
