Okay, ignore that. I see you are in Edmonton. Ironically I'm currently on the phone with Moretto about a new long block. I just saw the leaves on the trees still and figured you were down south.

Are the Denali's supposed to be lower than a stock 1500? Comparing it to the 1500 right next to it, mine is about an inch or two lower. If I crank the torsion bars back up, will the rear follow? I don't want to try it and end up riding around Cali style.

My denali is actually taller than stock 1500's. And my rear is lowered 2" but mines an 02 with quadrasteer.

Dang. I'll have to figure out how it was lowered and bring it back up. The shackles looked identical. Maybe they were lowering springs. That's probably why it rides like garbage.

Does it still have the blocks under the rear leaf springs. Is it an AWD?

Easiest way to tell is take a measurement from the middle of the fender to the center of the wheel hub. That way regardless of tire size you'll know how it's sitting.

Wow, good call. I totally didn't even look for that. The U-bolts are hanging way down so that's a dead giveway, plus I just looked at the SLT and it has them but mine doesn't. That just made life easier. Buy the blocks, crank the torsion bars back up and that will fix it.

I have an extra set of blocks from my last truck if you're interested. It was a RCSB 06 Silverado 4x4 that was dropped 2/4 so I have the stock blocks and shackles that was removed.

..but for your reference, assuming my Denali is stock height.

My current hub to fender measurements are 21.25" up front and 22.5" out back.

Which makes sense because after 3/4 dropping my RCSB 4x4 I was sitting at 18.5" up front and 19.25" in the rear. The crew cabs aren't nearly as raked from factory as the reg cabs due to the extra weight.

Moretto...... beware. Just buy a low mile junkyard LQ9....... like mine! Lol. Everything up here LS is so overpriced. And most of the local shops do some pretty scary work in the engine department. One guys is great...... and the next one pops 5 minutes into startup. I don't much like 50/50. It's why I have a friend with an engine shop that lets me build my own stuff in it. At least if it implodes I can only blame myself.

On your color I am certain your interior is the same tan as my 05 Sierra's is. The Denali has different seat covers and console but the rest isn't anything special. Tan isn't easy to find.... but I find it more often than not in SUV's over pickups. Pick and Pull might even have something.
