Hello all, I have a 2000 regular cab short bed 4x4 Silverado with the 4.8, currently have long tubes and a tune on it. I heard the 4.8s love boost, I’ve been looking at the torquestorm supercharger kit recently and wanted to dig deeper into it. Is it really worth it? I just wanted to get a little more information on it with a 4.8/5.3, and some reviews. The truck is my daily driver, I want a little more power to have some fun.

 

Bolt it on and go.
You will need fuel injectors and fuel pump as well to be able to support the extra power tho.

Flex-Fuel injectors from an L59 (example: Tahoe 5.3 liter 2002 - 2004 ) will get you to 500 flywheel hp on gasoline.
