boost ? on a LQ4

Default boost ? on a LQ4

Waz running a 5.3 with a whipple 10psi anyway it went out now im running a LQ4 6.0 same whipple but the boost dont hold at 10 it dropes is that normal on my 5.3 it would hold a little better

Your 6.0 is using more of the air your whipple is throwing down its lungs. That sould explain the drop in boost pressure.
If you want a little more bosst from your whipple for your 6.0, then do a pulley change.

well i have the 10 pound pulley but i was thinking going the a 75 shot of nos and leaving the boost there

Lets try the nitrous out and see for ourselves. Allen said the 6.0 wouldn't build the same boost as the 5.3 did with that pulley. I will ask over on his site.

mine does the same thing, i think. I can hit 11lbs of boost, but, it won't stay there. As the rpm's go up and the trans is preparing to shift, the boost drops slowly and so does my fuel pressure. Normal?????

I quess that's normal then cuz my fuel psi drop's 2 so then i quess it's time 4 NOS

normally i run 93 octane. I did run 100 octane the other day. No difference in KR. The truck felt a little stronger though.

NOPE, i just added an inline fuel pump. same one magnacharger uses. No difference.
