Default boaring out stock throttle body

it may be WAY off the wall...i havent looked at mine to see if its even possible. i have unlimited access to a machine shop. the question is: is it possible to port out the area behind the blade to 80mm or possibly 90mm and cut out a new blade to fit. i figure if it was possible jantzer, shaners, bo white, etc, etc would have already gone for it but it never hurts to ask i guess...educate me

The problem area is where the bearings seat up right next to the bore on each side. If you had a way to remount the bearings, you could go to 80mm pretty easy, probably even 85mm, but I don't think 90mm is possible with the stock casting. I could measure to verify... going from memory here.

I'm interested in this one too. I can modify mine myself but don't have an extra TB to be a guniea pig.
If anyone knows how much stock/material on either side of the blade is there, that is pretty much all we need to know.

I hear you! We need a f-ed up donor from someone.
I'd mill or bore it out to see what we could get out of it and still keep it safe and functioning properly.
