Default from BLOWmaster(loud) to Magnaflow(quiet)!!

i just switched out my 1 in 2out dumpd blowmaster , for a long case magnaflow 3in center center # mpe-12579 for (103$ at summit) the flowmaster sounded great but to loud for me!! the magna(very quiet) has a nice almost stock idle and sounds great at WOT, cruizin speeds almost like stock sound. i have it dumped right now to, i am goin to run it out the back to silence it more. after looking at the flowmaster they look like they dont flow worth a crap compared to the magnaflow!
I love the Magnaflow tone!

i gotta get some sound clips

Agreed, I can't get enough of the way my Super40 sounds.

Also glad the OP is happy with the change.

I borrowed a flowmaster 30 Series from my brother and tried it on my truck.... it sounded very good, but the interior resonance was absolutly horrible at 65mph. so i put the stocker back on... then i put a Magnaflow on and it sounds awesome.. sounds good idling, pretty quiet cruising and just nice at WOT.

Plus every body has a Flowmaster around these parts... so i dont like to fit in... know what i mean ?

i do have one of them little whistle muffler thingys thats goin on soon.

My truck does not fit in my parts of the woods w/ or w/o flowwmaster. Everyone has a mustang too! Every one here on PT.net has a Magnaflow also! It is all personal preference. Not trying to start another FM / MF War!

HEHE!

I know what ya mean dude..

every piece of crap car and truck has a flowmaster on it around here.
it might not run worth a crap but its got a $500 dual flowmaster exhaust!!

I do like them on the old school cars. Im goin to put my magnaflow infront of my turbo.. maybe a bullet after it... depends on what she sounds like..
