I have waited a few days for an email response before, maybe even a week one time, but Justin has always been good about responding. I chalk the longer waiting times to him being busy and I can understand that. As for turn around time on the tune he usually gets back to me in about 15-20 minutes.....but that is with an in-person tune

I'm getting headers installed this week and I'll wide band log this weekend. I'm anticipating getting the re-tune 2 weeks later.
Off topic, but why not have him tune it in person this weekend? He will be here the 24-26th I believe and there may still be some spots open.

Although they call it a "VIN License," EFILive licenses the PCM rather than the VIN. I believe that licensing is now done through the V8 software. With the V2 connected to the vehicle and laptop, and the key in the run position, open V8 Scan & Tune and click on "Licenses."
Thanks!

Hmmm, I had out of town plans but let me see what adjustments I can make. This is a great idea.

ETA: They're full.

Oh man sorry to hear that. I have only ever delt with him in person for my truck and my dads truck and love it. If he is coming to a city within reasonable driving distance of you I think its the way to go. 15-20 minutes and your done. No shipping, no turn around time. You can go on his website to see what his tuning weekend schedule looks like for the rest of the year.

well i've heard from justin a few times in the last few days. turns out it was e-fans on my 2000 that made it a bit more difficult since we had to flash a 2002 os etc. He sent me my base tune today and i logged a bit more so now just waiting on the final version hopefully! Nice to get this thing running again and hopefully it'll work the way it's supposed to.

I had to do the same thing. The 02 OS swap is what gives it fan control capabilities I believe.
