Mike Hamm Engineering 714-903-9717
I got in on a group purchase and paid $575 shipped. The price was a big factor, but others on the board had good experience with the headers and they produce the same hp/tq gains as the AS&M long tubes. I did have to wait a LONG time to get them, but I am happy with my choice. The benefit of the long tubes shines on high horsepower applications like supercharging or a nice shot of gas.
I got the X pipe from Husker Performance. Great price, and fast shipping. I got the 2.5" with 3" center core. http://www.exhaustproslinc.com/xandypipes1.html
I still have my cats. The performance is great, but I think I have eliminated most all my backpressure, which is robbing a little down low. I am thinking of leaving the x pipe, but going to a dual inlet, single outlet muffler. Gonna run the pipe to the bumper, and do a turndown out of sight. Hopefully the 3rd time is a charm with the exhaust.

Good Luck

I have heard, that they are having some trouble, but can't verify that. I have also heard that John Finnel (Featherfoot) is no longer with them. If your looking for something like Hamm's, look up Dean Lapoole (SSHotrodscom has them , I have his link on my links page) They are almost exactly like Hamms. "The Other Guys" also has mid length.

If a sponsor reads these threads, and sees people taling about a product they don't carry, maybe that will intice them to carry it. "****" kit goes in in the morning. I just hope my T/M isn't the same as Sir Mix-a-lot.

Dont do it J! I tried extending my 2.5s all the way out and it hurt performance. The next thing I think I will try is replacing the 2.5 pipes between the x and mufflers with 2.25s, unless you want to try it first. BTW.. for those that dont know BigJ and I have nearly the exact exhaust setup from headers to dumps. And waiting a LONG time for the Hamms is and understatement but I am glad I waited for them.

Thanks for the heads up Kenny. That actually sounds like a cheaper, better idea going with 2.25 pipes. I don't think I will have any extra cash for a few weeks, so if you want to try it, let me know how it works out If not, I will let you know how it turns out in a few weeks.

So did you get the juice yet? If so, you suck.

I ran a 13.6@100 at the track two weeks ago. I got a deal a few weeks ago on a dry kit the I just couldn't passup. Only problem is I only have a 5lb bottle. I am tring to find someone around here to trade me a 10 pounder.
