Stock springs are for stock cams.

Using questionable springs is downright ridiculous, but that's coming from someone who snapped a spring. It wasn't nice.

Run the best beehives you can afford.

Why run beehives when Brian tooley racing dual springs are $130?

Dual springs aren't necessarily needed with an N/A mild cam, and I've seen some claim they put excessive strain on the lifters.

That being said, I am running the Tooley platinums, but I ran PAC beehives for several years N/A no problems. Boost and age on top of that put one of the springs to its death bed. Dual springs can also break.

Like everyone suggested, I would stay under .560" lift with those LS6 springs. If they are anything like my Isky 165a beehive springs, they are only good up to about .580-.600" of lift.

If I had to do it again, which I will at some point, I would go with Brian Tooley pushrods, lifters, and valve springs.

212/218 with a new set of $60 ls6 springs
I ran that setup with great results for many miles!
The ls6 spring will out last the aftermarkets plus with .530 lift your not pushing the spring at all. The stock z06 cam has .551 and they cool bind at .570 from what I read.

I am running a 212/218 with ls6 springs in my girls crewcab with a tune and intake and exhaust. Stock manifolds no cats.
Really good cam for a stock stall

Over cam it and u will not be happy with the loss of low end.
