For that price the trick flow cam is a slam dunk in my opinion. It'll get that 5.3 running strong. with a converter it will lay down some impressive times!

^ oh I am def going that route should have ordered by wed-thur and I dont plan swapping the cam back out so I will use the ls6 springs. Also not sure if u seen my other post which size rods did I need to order?

I would call trick flow directly. Most common is 7.4 to 7.425. The correct way to go about it is to measure with a pushrod length checker tool.

Yea I called them and they said use a checker. But the problem is im dropping it all off while I go on vacation and really need to have all parts when dropped off.

6 days. But they can have it done no problem within those days along with my c notch. So id like them to not have to measure it when it gets to them. but have all the parts there.

I bet most places will let you buy a few different lengths and return the ones that aren't the right length.

Thats true too... but I was thinking that with 6 days it may be enough time to get everything squared away, measure and order the correct length. The pushrods can be done with the engine totally together with exception to valve covers and rocker arms. It would literally take an hour max to have the truck running if the only missing part was the pushrods.

so im trying to order everything from sdpc because they have great deals. Also there on the forums. Now next step for me would be longtubes which i should have after xmas and gears. I currently have 3.42 without just killing the gas mileage in the rcsb what should be next step for gears ?
