Default Bigger Dia. True Duals?

I'm trying to decide on wether or not I should step up from a 2 1/2" dual exhaust to a 3" dual exhaust when I get my 382 in. I've got to have the cats where I live (due to dumb-*** neighbors), so that plays a big part in it. Kinda think I should go bigger, curious about the loss of back-pressure and the effect on the very low-end. What do ya'll think get high-flow cats and leave it or go bigger?

Default I would say leave it.

We built a 406 and ran true 2.5 duals with no cats and it seemed to flow well.... Thats just my opinion.
