i dont have the cash to do much with this new beast till i get plates and all that but i do have a nx kit sitting here. i remember big tex spraying out of the hole and geting some good times, was that on a stock tranny and stock converter? if this thing will take a 125shot i may have to spray it. if i can't spray out of the hole i don't see the point though, it takes days to get up to 3000rpm now.

BTW. i think i will do some kind of huge shot on the 4.8 once i get a tranny in there, thinking a 150wet with the nx and then maybe a 100dry, just have to get a couple of parts to make that work . i have a pump. i bet that isn't enuff to blow it up. need to stage it or have a stall for sure too.

you can spray it outta the hole...i spray a 125 on mine from a dig several times.

you should have kept that old 6.0/tranny combo and dropped it into this truck.

 

sometimes you have to take a step backward before taking 4steps forward, something like that.

 

If you're gonna get a converter and spray it outta the hole I think you need some badass 20" wheels and tires for it. Hmmmm...what converter should you get, PYE3600.

Because a converter and a4L80 will kick a 6-speeds butt all day and night.

Yeah Jim, I sprayed it with a 100 shot several times with stock trans and converter. 1.9 60' times down from 2.4s.

 

how much did that 100 give you in the 1/4? did you have headers at that time?
