currently my sivlerado has a 4.3L in it, I got a 5.3L motor I'd like to drop in, unfortunately this new motor has the electronic controlled TB, is this going to be a problem?
Can I switch the electronic to a cable controlled?
etc..
thanks

Wow, your in for a job. A V6 to LS1 swap. You need alot of little stuff to make it work. You will need a PCM for a LS1, wiring harness, motor mounts, new fan shroud or e-fans, and yes you can throw on a cable controlled TB.
Why not just give the 4.3 a performance boost? I had a red 01' just like yours with the 4.3, and did some mods to it. It was running 9.7s in the 1/8, and 15.1s in the 1/4. I wish i would have pushed it to see what it could have done.
