All of the valvetrain ideas go out the window with the sewing machine sound. Bent valves/pushrods, broken rokers, failed springs, failed lifters... all pretty much make a clatter sound, not sewing machine... Sorry to say, I think it's bottom end.

I don't really believe that it is a bearing or anything in the bottom end. The reason that I say this is I even drained my oil and found no signs of metal at all.

PUT IT ON A SCANNER BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING ELSE!!!!! BORROW ONE OR MAY BE A GOOD TIME TO BUY ONE!

Take a look at the little wires in the maf. They get a coating on them from the oiled filter. Starts and idles ok, big power loss, and no code. I've had this happen on 2 trucks w/ k&n filters. I cleaned the wires and fixed the problem. The wires are shiny when they're clean.
