Why no lt's? my et's dropped from 14.7 bone stock to a 14.1 with lt's, gears, and a tune

I would save the money and not get either headers or gears and just put it towards a front mount turbo.

Well thought the point of this thread was "bang for your buck". LT headers on a stock 5.3 aren't in that catergory. I'd say most your gain came from the gears and tune.

for me its the $800 for the lq4 then the 375 for the converter and 450 for a dynotune

I agree...go for a tune. I did a cam and tune at the same time. Then got headers, next is a stall....and the list goes on and on......
