I would also like to know my diesel can't keep me cool enough in this Texas heat.

Default Electric Fans...

...will help in slow bumper to bumper or stopped traffic. I do not know what mph these fans equal to when sitting still but I do know the clutch fans suck in this area.
I have an 05 now but I installed Flex-a-Lite's in my 03 and they helped this out a bunch. Saved gas in the city too.
Also I have read here one can valve out the heater hose going into the cab through the fire wall to keep the hot under dash hoses to the heater core cool.

I thought my ac in the '02 silverado was going bad. Then I left the 105* Laredo temps and it works ok. Black truck heat soaked so bad that the cab was finally cooling off by the time I got to San Antonio yesterday. It's bad when it takes two hours for the ac to cool the cabin comfortably. I'll be glad to get back to Atlanta's usual 90*temps.
