I am looking to get some things for my '00 rcsb Chevy. I was wondering where can I get the best price for a pair of ASM headers. I have seen 700-750, is there anybody that can beat that. Also lets say my truck is completely stock, and I have about 1k to spend, what should I get and make the most out of my $$$. Thanks in advance.....

Thanks Tom I am thinking about doing that. can anyone give me some ideas on getting the most out of about $1000 bucks (i.e. hpp3 and headers, or t/c and 4.10 posi, etc...) The only thing I have done so far is port the hell out of my TB, K&N FIPK, and TB bypass. I went down to the new Angleton Dragway (1/8) last weekend and pulled a 9.88, I was pretty happy I guess. Thanks!

 

For the best out of 1000 bucks how about a 3000 converter and some ET streets.

Yeah I have thought about that also, but I would like to start with the basics (t/c, headers, programmer, exhaust...)

 

Will a 3000 stall on a stock truck (first mod) make it ride like crap?

Why would it change the ride? It will act just like the stock converter except for the launch!
