A stock SS with a Radix and a good tune will go 13.5's with just a Zippy shift kit and a trailblazer converter. In 75 degree weather. Not bad for the money if you ask me. BigTex just went 12.3 with his Radix.
If a SS is only capable of a 13.5 with the Radix, shift kit, and converter then I really don't see that kind of money worth it. My truck runs 14.32 in 1/4 on motor only.
Not trying to knock Radix, but if a near 2 sec gain is the case with a Radix addition, then your telling me my truck will be running mid to low 12's in 1/4????
If it will give me that ,then yea it would be worth the money.

The converter, servos, shift kit, caltracs, and drag radials will only cost you $1200-1500.00.
That seems like a cheaper way to me than $6,000-7,000.
I think those upgrades are definitely in order before adding forced induction to any truck.

a vho is a extended cab right. if it is thats hard to believe its running that in the quarter. thats like a 9.17 in the 1/8th. my truck is a reg cab and it ran 9.7 stock in the 1/8 and i know the 6.0 stock will never make up the weight difference. would like to see one run that fast if its possible.

Well.... If you don't believe me then just ask TXsilverado on this site.
He was at Houston Raceway Park running next to me on all 5 of my runs.
Here is my best time slip:
R/T - .798
60' - 2.144
330 - 5.997
1/8 - 9.192 ( LOOKS LIKE I KILLED YOUR WEIGHT DIFFERENCE!)
MPH - 77.62
1000 - 11.945
1/4 - 14.327
MPH - 93.63
That's your stock 6.0L for you man. Nelson tune & Volant CAI w/ ram air.
Those are the only mods. Was even on the factory 275/ 55/ 20 wheels & tires. Couldn't even stall the truck up. If I stalled over 1000 rpm's, it would just spin. With better traction, I can see a few more tenths off my 14.32 run.
Sorry, but that's what it will do, "stock" .

keep in mind the ss is AWD so there is a little power loss there and is heavier than just you standard EC.

Go around water trap the best you can. Back up to do your burnout, but do not back into the water trap. These radials do not need to get water on the tread.
Just do a mild burnout until you begin to see smoke.
Stage, bring your rpm's up to 1000 rpm's or less. Wait til the green and just stomp the gas. Mine hooked right up this way. Any more rpms on the stage and you can just forget your 60' times.
I didnt even spin when I staged that way.
Well, hope this helps you out.
Good luck!
