Good input so far, any experiences with mpg increases going to LT's after already having the CAI, chip & cat back exh? Thanks guys....

Let me put a little bit different twist on this. I'm currently pretty satisfied with my mileage. I wouldn't mind more, but can live with what I have----maybe even a mpg or two less. Remember, I already have the CAI and a hypertech chip. I can pick up an LS1 edit for very cheap from a friend and had planned to do that when I started to do mods. Given that thought, here is what I want to do. Tell me what you think my combo would do in the 1/4. Thanks.
Scenario 1: Add to my existing parts a cat back, e-fans, and a better tune (either my LS1 edit or a nelson, etc).
Scenario 2: Port the heads (nothing exotic---mainly some bowl work....), add a mild cam, headers, cat back, e-fans, better tune and maybe a tb converter. I think this last scenario is the way I want to go. I think the mild stall will help it quite a bit with a small decrease in mpg. But obviously, all of the other mods will help power a lot.
What do you think?
