Yes, a Tune for sure.
To clean the MAF I remove it. And no, do not remove the screen and or touch the elements with anything.
I then use an electrical contact cleaner, spraying it untill the intake side is bright and shiny again. It will clean the screen too.
Make sure the can of cleaner says "Non Residual" or "Leaves no residue". There is a few contact cleaners out there that claim to leave a ptrotective film. Uhhhg! Also try and not spray your self. Use gloves or wrap a smal towel around it as a handle.

I installed LT hdrs., Westers PCM and a Volant intake and saw an increase of 2.4 MPG. The extra HP/TQ are the reasons why I did these mods and the increased mileage was just an added benifit. The LT headers gave the largest increase in mileage.
