Default Best Mods for the Money

Hey guys, i have a 2003 5.3 silverado. I have put in Strange 4.10's , Edelbrock shorties, K & N, and PCM (93 octane). I am looking to do something else. I was going ot get a ls6 cam, but the mechanic said Not to. I wsa thinking about some Stage 2 Heads, but will that really do that much. Any feedback is appreciated

It's hard to exlain ...

It's like it lets the motor rev up higher before it starts pulling. It also should hit harder when it does flash. When it flashes, that means it's the point at which the fluid in the converter does not let anymore slippage in the converter happen and it begins to pull hard. Similar to when you floor it from a light, it will jerk, then ease up. That's the converter flashing.
