Nitrous, gears, or a stall. Any of those would help the cause.

This is gonna sound crazy to you guys, especially those starting out in modding their trucks. But if I started over...knowing that I didn't plan on stopping with the mods (who does really), I'd get the tuning software and a wideband first. Yeh yeh, more expensive, but you could learn the whole picture as you add each mod. With a wideband, you tune your n/a fairly stock truck to nail 13:1 WOT with top timing and I bet you have a lot of fun, and beat everybody who was putting bolt ons on their trucks with no tuning.

But that's just me, I like to screw with stuff and learn what makes what tick. SO it's only natural I try and learn how to tune a mod. So with that said, if tuning and continuos modding isn't you...get a cam and a mail order tune.
