What would be the best cold air intake for my 04 silverado, 5.3, which one would give the best hp, and tq. gains?

 

they are all so close in gains that any quality kit will be good. just make sure it has an airbox and a closed filter element and not one that is open to the hot engine bay.

the volant one has a ram air kit for it so that might sway your decision.

 

i personally liked the gmpp cai its pricey but i saw a big difference with it.

 

Or there is of course the make your own kit which can be done a number of ways for much less than any aftermarket kit. I guess I still just don't see the benefit in spending $250-300+ for some plastic tubing that has very little affect on performance.
