aem brute force is my fav. mainly because i had it on my old chevy and i want it on this one because i want my new truck to be like my old but faster but not that fast lol

I've had the mac intake and K&N on my truck and I felt the most gain out of the procold that I have on now

I paid about $215 for my AEM Brute Force. The intake howl at higher rpms sounds sweet.

i m very happy with volant, i have the ram air, i feel the difernce right away, i had a mac intake just like the kn set up, wasnt happy at all,people bad mouth volant cause they cant afford it.

No one is using the King Cobra? Why is UPD looked down on now? Volant has fixed all the issues and puts down real power now?

Ok, now I am thoroughly confused. 4 pages of what about this one, that one and so on. I know I'm a newbie, but I too am trying to figure out which intake is the best. I have an 04 Burb with the 5.3, and it is a daily driver. I'm looking more for mileage and performance versus showy stuff. I've been thinking volant, and found the UPD yesterday but I'm not sure. So I will sit back and read as the great debate continues.
