Default benifits of injectors?

My truck has a s/c on a 5.3, should i step up to some 42# injectors, what are benifits of having them.
I hear it will help with the added air from the blower to richen the fuel mix.
any noticable power gains?

They will be of great benefit if you are maxing out your stock injectors. You need to make sure you have adquate fueling, because a lean condition under boost will quickly damage your pistons.

Supercharged motors tend to have greater fueling requirements than NA setup making the same power so the 42 lb. injectors are probably a good idea anyway.
