I am ready to order a set of pullies. I just still have some questions.
The folowing is a quote from Oxidizr at FSC.COM.
</font><blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">quote:</font><hr /><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif"> OE Crank/OE Alternator = stock performance
UD Crank/OD Alternator = Some power gains / stock charging
UD Crank/OE Alternator = More power gains / some charging loss
UD Crank/UD Alternator = Most power gained / possible charging issues at idle
</font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">OE = ?
OD = ?
UD = ?
This is the set up I am interested in.
UD Crank/OE Alternator = More power gains / some charging loss
What is is it that I need for this sep up? I found a set of pullies at Summit for $179 for both(crank and alt).
Any othother place where I can find them cheaper?
Gracias in advance.

if you'd like to see how the "UD Crank/OE Alternator = More power gains / some charging loss" works out on my truck, let me know, we can meet at the track or something, by the way, if you arent gonna do the install, where do you plan on taking them to get installed? know of any good shops in the rgv. and thats a pretty good price for the set, i payed somewhere like 175 for the crank only..

Thanks Fast4.8. So in other words, for the setup I want, I only need the crank pulley. Rgvsierra, I wold like to see your setup. In what part of the valley do you live? I am goig to have it installed by this guy I met when I my truck was at the shop for body work. He is an ASE mechanic and gave me a real good price. He does jobs on the side. If you used Yahoo IM add me do you friend's list. My username is shark_g.

As long as you dont have any extra electrical load the crank only set up is the best choice IMO. That is what I had before I had to get the od alt pully due to my stereo, lights and ele fans. And actually I did not notice any loss of performance when I changed alt pullies.
