Default BBK 80mm throttlebody for "drive-by-wire" trucks available soon (includes 8.1)!

BBK will soon be releasing their 80mm throttlebodies for the "drive-by-wire" trucks with the 4.8, 5.3, 6.0 and 8.1 motors. They are built from CNC-machined 356-T6 aluminum alloy. These throttlebodies offer quick installation and an 8-10hp gain to the rear wheels.

We're currently taking pre-orders for these and should have them ready to go just after the 1st of the year. If you place your order now (on-line or by calling 1-877-4-TBYRNE) you won't be charged until it is ready to ship. There is a $35. discount if you place your order by December 14th.

1756 1999-'02 GM 4.8, 5.3 and 6.0 (with electronic throttle control) - also fits 8.1 $399.99
1757 2003-'04 GM 4.8, 5.3 and 6.0 (with electronic throttle control) $399.99

Have a good day,
Tom

this might be good with the big bore lsx intake, anyone know the size of the bore on that intake? seems like it was even bigger like 85 or 90mm.

Are you talking about the new intake from F.A.S.T?

F.A.S.T. will have 78 and 90mm intake manifolds available. The 90mm is recommended for stroker motors. The release date for this intake has bee pushed to the end of December so we're going to continue for the discounted price for a little longer. The 90mm TB should be available around the same time. Here is info for this and the 78mm version -

The throttlebodies will be designed using the lastest modeling software and test equipment available to produce designs that yeild the maximum flow per square inch of cross sectional area. Both throttlebodies will be machined from billet 6061-T6 alumimum on precision CNC machining for consistant quality and light weight. Pricing for these should be available in 1-2 weeks.

yes, i think that is who makes it, seems like they were going to make 2 versions, a stock tb size one and a bigger one, not sure how big it was. i was thinking if i ever wanted to go with the bigger one i might be forced to use a throttle cable and cable style TB but maybe not with this TB
