any estimates on how much a 15* difference in temperature can affect e/t's in the 1/8??
more specific...from around 70 to around 85*
my et in the 1/8 dropped .08 after getting tuned by nelson performance and the temperature was hotter this time around. im looking to get a good estimate of what ive gained with the temp difference.
ive only got about 100 miles on the tune and hear its a good 3-400 miles before it really kicks in
cant wait

Find you one of those ET calculators. For every 10 degrees rise in temperature you will typically see 1% less horsepower. This is a rule-of-thumb formula. Humidity and barometric pressure also have an effect on our engines.

yeah that was my last run(april). i ran at hmp last night, and was wanting to compare my times at the same track.
so far my times at hrp seem to be better than hmp for some reason. after weight reduction i couldnt get anywhere near the times i got at hrp.
the best i could get on weight reduction last night was a 9.70@74.07mph
at hrp i got a 9.56@74.72, but that was kinda a freak run. is a 2.191 60' time normal in an ecsb 5.3??? i did get a bit of wheel spin so im hoping a new set of tires will set me straight. im on a set of 245/70-17 so traction can get sloppy. hopefully a 275/60-17 will help the times.

I will say that HMP is a horrible track as far as track prep. The track has no traction whatsoever. I went to HMP with my current setup and ran 2.3-2.4's 60's and the very next weekend went to HRP and was pulling 2.1 60's. Same setup both times on street tires.
