Bad Coil Ground Causing Misfires?
#1
Just wondering if that would attribute to a misfire.
I have been trying to determine the cause of my misfire issues for weeks now. Tonight I was going through the fuse block under the hood and I noticed the Fuse labeled IGN A was showing a voltage of over 10 volts when all the other fuses showed zero. Is that the fuse for the driver side ignition coils?
On a side note, the same night I had misfires start my radio and amps have been staying on and I have to turn them off manually. Although that's the least of my concerns.

See if your wire boots are touching the headers. I have ASM headers as well, and I have to bend the boots after snapping them onto the plug so they don't touch. When they touch, they get damaged and misfire randomly, especially if you hit a puddle or something.

I've had taylor wires on in place of the stockers and they did not touch and then all of a sudden missing. I tried swapping back to the stockers and checking and changing plugs but to no avail. I also did a leakdown and compression test (because originally I had a cyl. 1 misfire) and those results turned out okay. Now I get multiple misfires and it only seems to get worse.

I have the same ****! go full throttle and I start missfiring and ****. BUt does your truck lope hard and die? mine dies at stop lights and when going from reverse to drive
So I would also like to know if the coils or fuse may be the prob.
