Default backfire?

i just changed my exhaust from the Borla split side (3" to the muffler and 2 2 1/4" tailpipes) to the Corsa 3" side exit. Throttle response is better along with more low end torque. Now when i stop accelerating and start slowing down it pops and sputters(backfiring?)until i maintain a constant speed or accelerate. Why the difference? A few of my f-body friends said that its a lean condition? If it is could i remedy the "problem" with my Predator?

If it's a lean condition the conputer should correct the problem.I would start checking the engine tune.

i am running the standard predator tune with a UPD intake descreened MAF and P&P throttle body with modified bump stop. My ? is that it never did it before and it is now with the new exhaust.
