Auto-RX flush solvent
#2
I do have experience with this SNAKEOIL PRODUCT, it does not work as advertised. Auto-Rx was kicked off Bitog as a sponsor back in January of 2009 because the owner of the board was flooded with PM's and emails that the product did not work. This product has worked for about 6 people, but they are paid accomplices for auto-rx.
Here are a few threads you can Google:
1. Paid Posters For Auto-Rx
2. ARX & Aluminum Engines
3. Mobil 1 Cleans Better Than Auto-Rx
4. 3 ARX cycles, didn't do much, bummer
There are 45 Locked Arx threads on Bitog, and they all show that arx does not work as advertised, the only person posting on the arx forum is the owner himself. He even knows his product is snakeoil since he has never even tested the product on his own vehicle, the guy has been in business for 12 years, and nothing about arx in his own vehicle.
Between 2002 and 2007 arx averaged about 9 new customers a month, from 2008 up until the end of 2011 they were averaging 6 new customers a month. From the beginning of 2012 up until November of 2013 arx is averaging 2 new customers a month. This is important since 99% of arx customers are onetime customers. It is so bad for arx that they got rid of there money back guarantee and they have changed the name of there product to Auto-Rx Plus, when your product is not selling or it has a bad reputation then you go ahead and change the name.
If anyone hear still does not believe me after Googling the threads I mentioned, check out the sticky in the oil additive section on BITOG about arx and search the archives yourself.
If this oil additive really worked then it would be sold in stores, it is not sold in stores because the owner of arx knows that the FTC would be breathing down his neck for false advertising.

I have no experience with it and it appears the
above has it out for ARX in general.
However, if you're looking for a reliable oil solvent, I'd highly recommend using Seafoam over anything else. Heck of a lot cheaper than ARX, too.
EDIT: And I just looked at the OP post date and realized that idjit above bumped an 8 year old thread
