Factory knock settings, especially on 6.0 motors, are set extremely conservative from factory. I recommend changing to c5 z06 knock sensor settings.

Not to mention, I believe it is nearly impossible to blow up one of these motors naturally aspirated.

I did this swap last week and used this advice.

JFC this thing pulls like a freight train with my Circle D 3200 and 4.11s.

Nothing but smiles.

I'm about to do my first oil change.

So far, zero issues with this engine. I will post the cam they are using in case it helps someone else:

Even on a 114, it still lopes well. It surprised me.

As far as how it runs. It is definitely every bit of what they claim. I'm not running the timing they suggest but I am running around 28 degrees right now.

I'm still working on trims. Below 4400 is +-1. I just need to do the upper rpm range.

I'm happy so far.

That's too much for pump gas.

Nice.

Seems kinda low RWHP. I was hoping for close to 400 to the tires myself. I'll be able to tell you for sure next month.

I've got some time scheduled for a Whipple install.

I'm shooting for 10-12psi.
