Default ATI ps1c?

Is this a good charger? I need 3000 to 6600 power so low end is not a problem. I have a chance to pick up a kit for a good price and want to know if it is good or not and if it would fit my needs. I am looking to get atleast 500hp out of it with my mods lt headers a 6L soon to be installed. It has an I/C too so I can crank up the boost.

your going to need a stall something quality like a PI 3200+ and a bigger intercooler the stock one is really restrictive. from experience i had lq4 with a p1sc in my 2wd rcsb and burn out at freeway speeds were not a problem.

I have a tci 3000 that should be plenty. The kit will have a 2 core I/C is that the restrictive one or is it better.

The 2-core is somewhat restrictive, but it is definately better than nothing at all. You can always upgrade the intercooler later if you are not satisfied.

With the 5.3, or the 6.0? I think that you will have trouble getting 500 rwhp with the 2-core on a stock motor. A few of the SS guys have gotten a bit over 450 at the wheels with a p1-sc. The 2-core should be fine with that amount of power. It would definately be easier to hit 500 with a 3-core IC though.
