i had one on my 5.3 and have on on my new motor and im not totally sure if it puts numbers down on the dyno, but it definately made the throttle more "snappier" which i like alot. i dont see any way an underdrive pulley could hurt the power.

when I installed in on my 5.3 I felt a quite a bit of difference... I have it on my 6.0 now, but I installed it all together cam, pulley, etc... it sure wont hurt to put it on though, I would recommend it...

well im sold, im gonna try it out, should i get the overdrive pulley or the underdrive pulley with it? Does the overdrive take away some of the benefits while the underdrive gives your more power? I know the overdrive helps with charging issues but do I really need it considering I have a small system and dont run e fans. How hard is the crank pulley to do? I have access to air rachets if needed or do I need to rent a pulley puller? Thanks for the help.

the overdrive pulley is smaller, so it might even help the benifits of the underdrive pulley but i doubt it because the alt pulley is already so small and the alt dosent have much drag on it at all.
