There are too many variables there. The lighter the piston the more rpms a rod and bolts will hold. I turned my 4.8 to 6700 many times and no failure. A 6.0 has a heavier piston due to larger bore thus can't hold up to as many rpms. I wouldn't want to pull a 6.0L past 6500 on a regular basis with stock bolts. Getting aftermarket lightweight pistons and having it balanced will help them live longer.

I keep forgetting I dont have my mods in my sig anymore. I have a LQ4 with ARP rods, and a Cam motion 223/226 cam. Nothing else has been done to the motor. yet

I believe in 2001 or 2002 GM upgraded the stock rod bolts in their motors to a stronger type. I dont know how much stronger they are, but ive turned my 4.8L to 6700 rpms a few times on the bottle, and it still runs good.
