mine was all bolted down, just like it would be if i were going to start it up. i put the head on the valley, stood on the front cross member and put the head on. i'll get you guys some pics tomorrow

if it doesn't work let me know and i'll figure something else out. they are kinda blurry and dark but i don't have the ability on this computer to lighten them up any. if anyone can, let me know and i'll email them to ya for some cleaning up. thanks

Oh yeah, you know you should have just thrown that 6L short block in. That 6L I sold you just needed the covers and a few misc parts. Otherwise it was ready to roll and in near perfect condition. If you are going the distance using head studs, new cam, and heads on your stock motor, I assume the 6L is no longer around. Too bad.

the 6.0 is sitting right next to the truck....it has it's time, it underwent some changes in the last year since it left your house. i'll post the pics as attachments on here. you can't see the carbon build up that well in the pics, but on the outter rim of each piston there is a little layer of carbon about 1/16 thick...but only like 1/8 wide and only goes around the perimeter of the piston maybe 1 inch
