What is your reasoning behind this recommendation? Have you had experience with both sizes?

Because you have a super charger and they need high exhaust flow to maximize your potential. Look at the latest model camaros. They're stuffing 2" in there for the exact same reason

yes, the less the restriction the better. You won’t notice a change in response with the smaller primary, it’s all in the tune.

ive had numerous blower setups before going turbo and I’ve tuned many more.

Thanks for your input guys! I ordered the 1-7/8'' and i'll come back and post the updated Dyno results here in this thread.
It wont be exactly an A-B comparison since last time it was in the heat of summer with ambient air of about 90 degrees and now its going to be perhaps 50 degrees in the shop max...
Again, I'm still not sure how much faster I can turn that supercharger before it looses efficiency, I'm already running a 3.25'' pulley where stock was 3.5''

.25" is nothing. I'd do an LSA or 10% OD truck lower without losing any sleep. Could probably do that and run a 3" upper.

Look at the LSA guys making 750hp, they have like 10.5" lowers with 2.4" uppers. Factory was 7.8" and 3.0"

Dont worry about the efficiency, you have a ways to go before you're out of range on it

How much power can this 6.2L D.I. motor RELIABLY make? ...and by reliable, I mean I drive this truck EVERY DAY rain sleet or snow to work and back, it has 57,000 on the odometer and I'm planning on keeping this setup for the long haul. I feel like I'm approaching the point of diminishing returns as I really only take it to the track a few times a year and it just doesn't have the traction to see full throttle on the street without getting really loose. Traction is fleeting even with the "ladder" bars and a 305 50R20 Toyo. The headers will make a difference in power and sound but this thing is already a handful to drive on the street. Fun as hell though!

I dont know, I have a Gen3 with the "weak rods" that arent supposed to go over 500-550, and its pretty much made 477whp for the last 4yrs, and I pulled a race car to Las Vegas for LSFest, go off road with it, race some things here and there. Hasnt blown up yet

Its a GM V8, its a stout motor. Keep timing under control and good fuel in, keep it off the ragged edge of all-out power and it'll last for some time I am sure.
