Default arh headers question

Im wanting to get a set of these bad boys for my truck but i have a few questions about these someone might be able to answer. On texas speed website it looks like each header has its own pipe that runs back to were a y pipe would usually end, is this supposed to be a direct fit for the hd trucks that have duel exhaust all the way to the muffler? If the answer is no then how do the connection pipes bolt up? What size is recommended for a basically bone stock lq4 that might see boost in its future. 1 7/8 or 1 3/4? After the long tubes what sounds pretty good and whats a good size pipe to go with. I was thing duel borla xr1 with a 2.5 inch pipe. Thanks for the help in advanced

We don't have a direct fit for your HD. But if you're willing to jump through a couple hoops, and do a little work with the connecting pipes, you can make them work. It's been done before.

As for size, the 1 7/8" is going to be better when you add boost, and won't hurt your performance before boost either. Also, your stock exhaust is 2.75", so at least stay that size. Don't go smaller. If you think dual 3" will be too loud for your liking, then keep the 2.75" pipes and change out the muffler to your liking.

Good to know man i was hoping you would comment lol. I might go to a few exhaust shops and see how much they would charged to just redo the complete system after the lt's in 3 inch, what muffler do you recommend? I am not too worried about how loud it is just want it to sound nice.
