Gonzo - the truck was run with the blower, not N/A. Remember this is all wheel drive and i would assume that the drivetrain losses are a little more than normal. The torque that this truck makes is more than a naturally aspirated 408 would make, over a longer RPM range. Peak would be about the same. Also I still say that the blower is not big enuff for this size engine. Remember too, the cam is only 220/224.

The tuning we went to the dyno with is tuning we did on the street. With this tuning the truck still went 87mph in the 1/8th. Just showing the difference of what we thought was good seat of the pants tuning vs. actually tuning on the dyno.
We were basically able to add more timing once we got it on the dyno and were able to monitor a lot more things. We were also having a IAT problem, where the truck was seeing a lot of temp for inlet air, 190 degrees. Which resulted in timing being pulled and a sluggish engine. With all of this fixed the engine and truck are running a whole lot better!! Can't wait to take it to the track tomorrow night.

Thanks,

I understand this project is run with a SC,I would like to know what HP#s and ET it would be without the SC,Did you guys have the truck disabled while the charger was off for repair,or did have it driving N/A?It seems to me 450-500HP would be expected with a charger,I do remember PCMs for less had his SS dyno 383HP with heads and mild cam.Seems you would be courious just how much the SC is helping. While on the dyno cant you remove the SC belt for a N/A pull?

What did you do to lower the IAT's? and what size pulley are you running?
can you post up the dyno sheets?

I'm not sure if they were actuallly able to lower the IAT's or not, but there is a table that pulls timing based on IAT's. I start to get 1 or 2* pulled at just 86*F... IAT - not outside temp!

You can zero the table out if you'd like, so that no timing is pulled.

Marc, that is what we did. We are getting a bigger intercooler for the truck and also making it so we can keep coolant flowing through the intercooler when the truck is off. We were seeing 190 degree of inlet air temp and losing a lot of timing over it.

Thanks,

BTW, we are hopefully going to the track tonight, results in the morning!

Cam is a 220/224 114LSA w/ .600" lift

No track times yet. I was not able to make it to the track. I am now shooting for Friday or Saturday.
