I can get you a set just like them!! Your truck is going to be one bad machine when it's done!
Big tex, it is ported but nothing too crazy! I will try and get some pic's of it.
Thanks

Thanks Chris. Here is my ported TB I used on my SS, pictured beside a stock 03 TB. I made the mistake of removing too much material from the "tongue" on the inside bottom of the TB. That really increased the air volume at idle which gave me some tuning fits.

Well, here are the results from the last saga of the Silverado SS! We recieved the supercharger back from Magnacharger last week and got it installed. The difference......none! Still just 5lbs of boost, but at least steady 5lbs all the time. We even ported the TB and it did nothing for the truck or boost.
So yesterday, we took the truck to W2W powertrain to use their all wheel drive Mustang dyno. They have a brand new dyno that is just awesome. After about 3 hours on the dyno here's what we came up with;
270 rwhp (the way we have been driving it)
335 rwftlbs (same as above)
These were the results after tuning!!
413 rwhp
445 rwftlbs
Still only 5lbs of boost. This truck has 400 ftlbs basically from the time you go to wide open till you get out of it!! It feels really good now, it didn't before. I still would love to have the 10lbs we were shooting for.
Well we are headed to the track tomorrow, I will let you know how it does now!!
Thanks,
Chris

Good god that's a huge difference before/after tuning.
Was the 'before' running on the Superchips tune, or bone stock tuning?
Would you be able to disclose what exactly got modified? I'm still very new to tuning, and just wondering where everyone finds this power. (I'm not looking for exact data, just things like "timing raised", "up/down on the VE's", etc. etc.)
