They sound pretty good, i have put some on a few 6.0 trucks. They are deep and not as much drone as a regular magnaflow. I used the 18" long mufflers.

i replaced my 14in with the 24in. i have mid's with no cats straight to that muff. when i had the 4.8 it was good but the 6.0 was too much for it. it was raspy and popy under part throttle. now it sounds good, i love my 24in

I have teh 24" behind my 6.0 and it was behind the 4.8 for a while too. the .MOV files have sound clips. Quiet cruise and a nice growl when you get on it. http://bertok.us/agreif/posthelp/

yeah they sound pretty good and not too loud either.

I emailed magnaflow and he didnt recommend the xl mufflers. said it would be tinny and they sound like flowmasters.

I was thinking of running a small magnaflow straight through muffler b4 the xl muffler with a cutout b4 the xl muffler.

I found the part number for the 3" stainless steel pipie that goes between the y and the muffler. jegs sell them for $55, the number is

i just have a universal 2.5 in /dual 2.5 out, dont know about the XL. just about any reputable brand muffler is better than stock.
