I bought a set of Stage I Patriot heads and had them sent off to be cleaned up some more. I bought LS6 valves to go into these heads, but now I found out that I was sent the Stage II heads with 2.02"/1.57" valves. I feel like these are too big to be the optimal size in a 5.3, but I can't send them back as I have too much work into these heads already. I also didn't want to worry about piston to valve clearance issues with the bigger valves (212/218 cam and heads milled .050"). I really wanted the lighter valves, but I guess that isn't an option anymore since the heads are opened up too much to fit them.
