Yes I use to have one. It works and is very good. That AEM is excellent, and PRO COLD and yes its for real on the dyno results. Those are the 2 best intakes hands down. Personally no offense to anyone, the UPD is a piece of ****. You get the same results a K&N FIPK does. You want results get the AEM or even better a PRO COLD.

I tried the airaid when they firstcame out. alot of money for just a new box and a rusty metal sheild. its sold
Got the kn next which lasted the longest but i switched filters to open element S&B so when I removed my headlight the air would have a strait shot in.Didn't make any differance.
Now I have a UPD which I havn't had problems but once it was on I didn't fig with it or spray nos, etc..
I like it becauses it's clear and I can check out whats going on with the tb and maf.
I have seen the AEM and it looks like the same concept as evrything else.
The shiny pipe looks cool but don't know how much more heat it holds compared to plastic.
I can't see these intakes varying in performance a whole lot.
GMtech High performance recently dyno compared about 10 lids for the f body and there gains didn't vary much either. I wish they would start doing stuff with GM trucks.
Next time I'm building my own intake.

Hi! I read in one chevy magazine (don't remember which one) a comparison of air temp at the begining and at the end of plastic and aluminum intakes pipes and the aluminum had the coldest air going into the trottle body

aluminum pipes cool down to ambient outside temps within seconds of driving underway. It's only when at idle that the pipe heats up. So on the drag strip where your wiating to line up, you'll have an initial hot intake charge.
But it's nothing a little N2O can't fix....
