it was a tr224 on a 112. Even he was quick to note that it was a bitch to tune. I was considering a tr220 for my 4.8 a while back but I'm still undecided as well. I'm thinking that I'm gonna get Patrick G. on tech to spec me out one this summer and see what he comes up with. I've been thinking about something like a 222/218 or something similar with a reverse split.

sorry to hijack, but i might also put in a similar cam, a 222/222 .566/.566 on 112 lsa on my 4.8 also. Would my yellow ls6 springs work with it? Ill be tunning it myself, but would it be streetable? I have a TB 2800 TC laying that i might put in the future.

Just to add, got a 224/224@112 in my 4.8 and absolutely love it... its loving the boost at the moment too...

I DO also have a 5-speed, so that makes a difference.

Yep I am kinda torn inbetween a 220 or 212/218 both on 112... I am just wondering what the 220 is like at part throttle and stuff....

Its hard picking cams for these motors....there's alotta nice cams out there.......i couldnt make a decision on mine so i just called comp!

What size stall are you gonna be running? Cause if your gonna have a decent stall speed you may be happier with the 220....
