Getting rid of the 50 series muffler on my truck. Thinking about an Aero Turbine. Anyone run these?

 

I ran there 248 truck muffler. Within two weeks all the fiberglass packing was gone and louder then hell. I still have two resonated mufflers in there that seem to be holding up. I thought they took bankruptcy this time last year.

 

Well just did a quick search and they have a site thats up and running. I was thinking of the 3030 all stainless muffler. No packing to blow out or burn up.

 

That will work. The exhaust shop that did mine said they had no problems with them until mine. Don't know?? Looked like a dryer vent on the back of my tailgate from all the packing.

 

Theres a white NNBS on youtube with a 3030 and it sounds awesome. It has a little girl in the bed of the truck as it idles. Ive been wanting this muffler for a while.

 

There is next to know first hand info on them on gas engines, at least not GM gas engines. The Dodge guys seem to like them and some diesel guys rave about them and others cuss them. The design looks promising. Been wanting one myself, a 4040XL.

 

I've always wondered about them, had I not gone with my Magnaflow Race Muffler, I would have tried one.
