Also, what kind of tires are you runing? Even AWD on stock tires can only hold so much HP.
On second thought, maybe you should let off the N2O when you max the MAF.
Sorry, but one more thing. What the hell does the track people say when you run these 11s with no cage or harness?

hey snake eater, did you just read my post in the FI section, i asked the same question as you about the 35shot or more boost.
tries hold a low 1.7 without a squeek, i think they will hold a low 1.6.
they all like my truck at the track but wont let me run over and over, basicly let me run once and say slow down, then i can run again before they tell me to leave. i can let off right after the 1/8th though as many times as i want. i figure i wont even go for it till i can pull a 6.99 1/8th, then give it the glory run.

Much of the AC system is aluminum, the compressor is going to be probably as heavy as all of the rest of the AC components combined. If you were going to get really crazy, lose the stock fuel tank and just run a 5 gal cell, that stock tank is HUUUUGE.

I don't know if you are talking about leaving the truck "that" way, or returning it to stock. I would consider a fiberglass roll pan in place of the rear bumper and maybe a carbon fiber hood (or fiberglass) painted factory color. I've seen them on ebay (flat stock appearing hoods) in the $300 range before. Also, have you seen the lightweight tailgates that are options on the 2004's. I think they are like 30lbs ??? lighter. I know you remove it totally at the track but on the street it would be nice. I wouldn't remove the air conditioning (just my opinion) although I did on my street/race car and it was near 70lbs. The compresser and condenser is what made up most of the weight. Good luck, with all of the input and R&D you've done for all of us on this site I'm pulling for you to be the first to the 10's. (even if it goes boom on the way!) Thats one thing I can say, you ain't scared!

I'd just remove the compressor (I would think it would be the heaviest component) and any other parts that could easily be reinstalled. ripping the evaporator out from under the dash for 5 pounds is
to me
Good luck either way

I agree with running the dual stage. Hit it hard out of the hole with two stages for 100-125 total, then pull out of one stage and leave a small 35-50 shot on the rest of the run. You get your had 60' times with the big shot, and gain the 40 hp you are asking for.
Pull both front and back bumpers.
You need to get a SS front bumper cover and a rear roll pan. The cover is pretty thin plastic. Chop the front bumper down to a skeleton, or weld up a lightweight frame to support the cover. It wouldn't be for protection anymore, just looks.
