Default Anyone out there with a 6.2

I was wondering if anyone has an 09 with the 6.2 mated to the 6sp auto. This looks like my next ride. I believe it is only available in a crew cab 2wd.

My '08 AWD Denali is 6.2L 6A ... you can't go wrong with the combo in my opinion. The Denali is available in either 2WD or AWD with the same engine trans combo.

I drove one when they first came out (08 Denali AWD 6.2 6spd). I was not impressed with the 6.2 but I am sure that was due to the TQ management.

The 6.0 felt stronger to you?

Man, I hate what GM has done with the tuning on these new trucks. Everyone always says they're not impressed when they test drive one. That is a shame because with a little tuning the 6.0L at least is a BEAST!!! I would bet the 6.2L is similiar

I've got one and even stock, it was night and day better than my 01 5.3L. At the track, it pulls out of the hole like nobody's business probably due to the low 1st gear and AWD.

After a blackbear tune it was WAY better. I had him tune the trans as well but I have not yet removed torque management but I will eventually. At the track, it dropped almost a half a second to 14.7 with Justin's tunes.

Not a day goes by that I am not impressed at how quick a 6,000lb brick can be with this engine trans combo. Now if I could just come up with the $$ for a magnacharger. This thing would be REALLY fun!
