Well after a few days of driving it the teuck feels good. Kinda hard to describe, but those days when your truck runs real good loke when it is cold outside and it has that little extra pep, that is how it feels all the time. And that is on about 10% e85

 

Put in some more and adjust the tune accordingly

 

Then going to E85 for those who have tuning capabilities maybe an option. But for those who don't, tuning can be a little $$.

 

I dont see why one couldnt use the low octane table for 89 or 93 and use the high for e85..
There are few tables (atleast in hpt) that deal with alcohol fueling to run from the factory on both fuels so why you cant have your cake and eat it to..

One prob cant get the max out of e85 with a dual tune but it may certainly be worth it

 

your truck has to have the alcohol sensor on it to be able to differentiate between the two, other wise it wouldn't know when you pumped E85 into it...

 

As long as you keep the mixture low enough, your fuel trims will compensate for the E85...

 

how much could i mix in to my normal 93 octane without my tune going weird running OLSD? remember my cell only holds about 17 gallons.

 

I would start with 1 gallon, then next tank go to 2 gallons... If you have an aeroforce gauge it is real easy to monitor trims. but since your OLSD you don't have any trims, so i would again start with 1 gallon and keep an eye on your AFR, then increase the e85 gallons slowly...

Been running 100% E85 for the past few months, but I was on a road trip and it wasn't available so had to go with 93 and been using it for kicks the past month. Feels so sluggish now on 93, not zippy and spry anymore. I warn you, once you dial a tune in with E85 for FI, going back to 93 will be very depressing.
