Default anyone know the cheapest place to buy american racing or kooks for my 07 tahoe?

was gonna go obx but I really dont think they will make the power that a american racing or kooks setup can make because of that small collector. It is short and only 2.5 inch so sure it will hurt power all over the curve so if doing this I am doing it once and with something good. If obx had a better collector I dont see any other reason not to use them but no choice if I want a good collector on a header from what I have found as I dont want a pacesetter that will rust in a year or so even with coating as stainless is the only way to go. many sell the good headers but hoped someone did more research than me and found a better deal than 1400 bucks.

I did some research and found the best deal on kooks at Speed Inc. just google it and call them. I'm in no way affiliated with them I was just wondering the same thing not to long ago. Try some of the site sponsors also worth a try.

Check out MPE Racing on E-Bay for good prices with free shipping on American Racing headers. I just bought a set for my 2011 Suburban 2500. Got them Swain-coated by ARH.

I will send you a PM. Got in trouble for naming a vendor that is not a sponsor on this site.

I have talked to a obx dealer and they are a direct copy of the dynatech header and after doing some research the dynatech dont make as much power as the arh or kooks by quite a bit. The 6.2 ones bolt up different to the cat back so wont work on the 5.3 engines it is a different ypipe. Need to do a group purchase with a bunch of people to really make it go down.
